This is the only short hypnotherapy course approved by the British Psychological Society for CPD. The Certificate in Evidence-Based Hypnosis can be taken either as a stand-alone training or as the first part (Stage 1) of the Diploma in Cognitive-Behavioural Hypnotherapy (our complete practitioner diploma training.) What is the Stage 1 Webcast?

This stage is focused on basic hypnotherapy assessment, hypnotic induction, and the use of suggestion; it presents a strong and comprehensive basic training in traditional hypnotherapy. Content is based on experimental and clinical research into hypnosis. Students finish this stage confident in knowing what hypnosis is, what it isn’t, and what it can do – they develop a good, solid foundation in how to induce hypnosis, and are able to write and deliver suggestions, train clients in self-hypnosis, assess hypnotisability and conduct suitable hypnosis skills training if clients require it.

What does the Stage 1 Webcast allow me to do?

The Stage 1 Webcast allows you to study the subsequent stages (Stage 2 and Stage 3) of the Diploma in Cognitive-Behavioural Hypnotherapy. The Stage 1 Webcast can also be taken as a stand-alone training, rewarding you with the BPS-accredited Certificate in Evidence-Based Hypnosis for CPD.

Please note: if you take the full Diploma training and would like to complete the assessment to receive the qualification, there will be a £195 fee for the assessment (this includes three supervised case studies and a 26 question written assessment). The Webcast format

We will use the webinar platform Zoom, and the trainers will be broadcast directly from their own individual training spaces. You will receive the same amount of teaching and practical training time as in the live in-person training, using Zoom Breakout Rooms to break out into pairs online to do the practicals.
