What the Hub is for
Learning to be a therapist takes practice, and practice takes other people. The Hub is where you get that. Supervised practise sessions run four to five times a week, led by a course teacher, so there is always a session you can join and always someone to work with. You bring real cases to a course teacher, and you have several hundred practitioners in the same model to ask when you are stuck.
There is support here for every part of the course and for everything that comes after it: your assessment questions, your case studies, your first clients and setting up your practice. All of it is included for twelve months from the day you enrol.

A complete map of how to work with a specific presenting issue: what to ask at assessment, how many sessions to plan, what to include in each, plus scripts and clinical tips. Phobia, Assessment & Conceptualisation and Habit Reversal are available now, with more in development.

Scripts and forms resource library
Every script and form introduced on the curriculum, as an editable Word document. Take the simple ego-strengthening script, write in suggestions for a particular client, and save your own version.

Psychotherapy.net video library
Recorded sessions and interviews with Donald Meichenbaum, Albert Ellis, Albert Bandura, Jon Kabat-Zinn, Hans Eysenck and John Krumboltz, among others. Includes the videos used on the Diploma and a much wider library alongside them.

The online version of every College workshop you have attended or completed stays open to you as a member, with no separate dual-access fee.

Unlimited practice sessions
Four to five College-run sessions every week, each led by a course teacher, working in breakout rooms as therapist and as client. Morning, school-hours, evening and weekend slots, at times that work from the UK, North America and Asia. Attend as many as you want, and they count towards the practice sessions for your Diploma.

Assessment support sessions
The Diploma assessment asks essay-style questions. These sessions cover what is being asked, the style of answer required, and specific queries on individual items. Particularly useful if you have been away from study for a while. Several Practice Sessions double as Assessment Q&A with Louise Coyle or Tim Grimwade.

Treatment planning sessions
Work in a group of three or four on a case study and design a full treatment plan together, with constructive feedback from a course teacher. You also see how other people formulate the same case, which is where a lot of the learning happens.

Any question about the course, from your case studies to a specific exercise to how something applies in practice.

A tutor plays a recorded session by an established therapist and stops it throughout, so the group can work out what just happened and why the therapist did it.

Every recorded webinar and CPD session, on subjects including menopause, weight, sports performance, REBT, working with children and teens, and rapid self-hypnosis. Alongside them, interviews with graduates about the practices they went on to build.

Business Surgery with Mark Austin
A monthly drop-in clinic with a business coach who is also a College graduate. Bring whatever you are stuck on and leave with a plan of action. Come back the following month with results and decide the next move.

Setting Up & Developing Your Business with Celia Griver
Two hours a month with a guest specialist. Recent sessions have covered practising in the North American market, SEO, branding, website design, networking, insurance, client agreements and admin systems.

Social Media Audit with Harriet Curry
Your own profile reviewed live, with specific changes to make, by a therapist who built her practice through social media. You can do this at any stage of the course, and it is worth doing early.

Business Support Session Library
Every past business webinar and recording, so a session you could not attend is still there when you need it. Business planning, registration and set-up, finding a niche, pricing, Profit First, IT, using AI in a therapy practice, and self-care for therapists.

Members pay up to 30% less on College CPD workshops and short courses, including the digital workshops with Mark R. Davis, Daniel Mirea and Dr Donald Meichenbaum. Codes are held in the Hub.

What runs every week and every month
These sessions are live, they are led by College teachers and practising therapists, and they are free to members. Most are recorded, so you can catch up on a session you cannot attend.

Hypno-CBT® Connect
The professional network behind the Hub
Connect is where the day-to-day contact between members happens. Students find case-study volunteers and practice partners there, openly and continuously. Mark answers clinical questions directly and at length. Ask about working with neurodiverse clients and you are likely to have reading lists and CPD recommendations from other practitioners the same day.
There are direct and group messages, a shared events calendar, group resource manuals and specialist reading lists alongside the main feed.

The Hub gives you supervised practice, teaching, business support and a professional community. Supervision contracts, professional body membership and insurance are separate arrangements you make as a practitioner, and you will need them in place before you see clients. If you are not sure what you need, ask us and we will tell you plainly.

Twelve months are included when you enrol on the Diploma, and everything stays available to you afterwards.

Do I have to be qualified to join?
No. If you are training with us, membership is already included for twelve months and you should be using it from day one, particularly the Practice Sessions. If you qualified elsewhere, contact us and we will talk through whether the Hub is the right fit.
Can I attend the live sessions from outside the UK?
Yes, and a good number of members do. Practice Sessions are scheduled across UK, North American and Asian hours, and there is a dedicated group for practitioners working in North America. Most other sessions are recorded and go into the archive.
Is this supervision?
The Hub gives you supervised practice, tutor feedback on your treatment plans, and direct access to experienced practitioners including the Principal. A formal supervision contract is a separate arrangement you make as a practitioner, and membership does not replace one.
I qualified years ago and have not practised since. Is it too late?
No, and this is a common position. Your Diploma access comes back with you, the Practice Sessions are open, and the assessment support sessions exist partly for people who have been away from study for a while. Start with a Practice Session and work outwards from there.
