New: Our Training Has Been Funded by the Department for Work & Pensions
We’re excited to share some great news — a prospective student has just been funded by the Department for Work & Pensions (DWP) to take our Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy. DWP have paid for her entire Diploma and also Assessment Fees.
The funding came through the Flexible Support Fund (FSF), a discretionary grant managed by Jobcentre Plus to help remove barriers to employment.
How much money is available in the Flexible Support Fund (FSF)?
While the budget for 2025 is not preset in 2023/2024)= the FSF spent £68 million supporting people back to work. Each year the budget has increased.
This means our diploma — which is externally verified, evidence-based, and career-focused — has now been recognised as eligible for funding support by a DWP Work Coach.
✅ Could You Be Eligible?
You may be eligible to apply for funding if you are:
- Unemployed and looking for work, and registered with Jobcentre Plus
- In low-paid or part-time work, looking to improve your career prospects
- Recently made redundant, and seeking to retrain or change direction
- Receiving Universal Credit, with a Work Coach and an active job plan
- On PIP and Universal Credit, and have a realistic goal to return to part-time work or self-employment
The key requirement is that you are registered with Job Centre Plus, that you have a Work Coach and your Work Coach agrees the training will significantly improve your ability to get into work, increase your income, or transition into self-employment
🟡 Note: PIP on its own does not qualify you for FSF, but many people receive both PIP and Universal Credit. If that’s you, you may still be eligible.
