Scholarships and bursaries for the Hypno-CBT® Diploma
Hypno-CBT® College releases scholarship and bursary places on the Online Diploma and on forthcoming Live Webcast Diploma courses. They are for people ready to train as Hypno-CBT® practitioners, for whom the standard fee is a real financial barrier.
You apply once and are considered for both
Both awards are for people for whom the standard fee of £5,972 is a real barrier. Both are paid in full before the course starts, and neither is available on a payment plan. All fees include VAT.
Practitioner Scholarships
60% of tuition: you pay £2,389
A small number for each course, awarded to applicants who stand out: a clear plan for practice, relevant experience or a community they intend to serve, and a strong commitment to completing the Diploma.
Practitioner Bursaries
40% or 30% of tuition
With a 40% bursary you pay £3,583. With a 30% bursary you pay £4,180.
Bursaries are reserved for people with real affordability difficulties. If you could pay the standard fee, please leave these places for people who can’t.

- you can pay the reduced fee in full before the course starts, without borrowing or cutting into essential expenses

Please don’t apply this time. We would rather you trained when it is affordable, and we won’t suggest borrowing to pay for the course.
Four steps, and a decision within 24 hours of your call

Complete the short application form. It takes about five minutes and we don’t ask for documents.
We review it and call you
We review your application within one working day. If you meet the criteria, we email you a link to book a 30-minute call about your plans for practice.
Hear our decision
A member of our management team who wasn’t on your call reviews your application and replies within 24 hours of the call. Every applicant receives a written answer.
Secure your place
If you are offered an award, you book through our normal booking page using a personal code, and pay the reduced fee in full within seven days.

A place is counted as allocated when an offer is made. Every application is assessed individually, so availability can change between your application and your decision.
The Hypno-CBT® Diploma
The Level 5 Higher Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (Hypno-CBT®) is a practitioner training programme based on mainstream peer-reviewed research on hypnosis, CBT and psychotherapy. It is designed for people new to therapy who want to set up in practice, and is also taken by psychologists, psychotherapists and coaches adding hypnotherapy to their skills. You can study the Online Diploma in your own time, or join a Live Webcast.
The course has been running for over 23 years, to over 3,000 students. The qualification is accepted by the main professional hypnotherapy organisations: NCH, GHR, FHT, REBHP, ACCPH, ASCH (Australia) and ICBCH (USA).

The Level 5 Higher Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy is accredited and awarded by NCFE as a Customised Qualification and benchmarked at Level 5. NCFE is an awarding organisation recognised by the qualification regulators for England (Ofqual), Wales (Qualifications Wales) and Northern Ireland (CCEA Regulation). This is an unregulated qualification and is not a nationally recognised qualification. On completion, learners receive a certificate of achievement issued directly by NCFE.
Before you apply
Can I combine a scholarship or bursary with another discount?
No. Awards do not combine with any other offer, concession, regional price or coupon.
Can I pay the reduced fee in instalments?
No. Scholarship and bursary fees are paid in full before the course starts.
Who are bursaries for?
People with real affordability difficulties. If you could pay the standard fee, or one of our other options, please don’t apply. That leaves the places for people who need them.
How are scholarships decided?
Every applicant is considered. A scholarship goes to an applicant who meets every bursary requirement and stands out on their plan for practice, relevant experience and commitment to completing the Diploma.
I have already booked. Can I apply?
No. Awards are not applied to existing bookings.
I live outside the UK. Can I apply?
Yes. Please check our regional pricing first. If the regional price is still a barrier, you are welcome to apply.
Do I need to send evidence of my income?
No. You describe your circumstances on the form and talk them through on your call.
What if I change my mind after enrolling?
Your cancellation rights are set out in our enrolment terms.
How do you use my information?
Only to assess your application. If you are not offered an award, or don’t enrol, we delete your application six months after our decision. Read our privacy notice.
